Is it possible that auditory hallucination could be related to psychic powers?

If it is a true auditory hallucination then it is not related to psychic abilities, as true hallucinations are simply mental disturbances. However, hearing voices that others do not hear is not necessarily a hallucination, and might well be an indication of psychic abilities. There have been multiple occasions, by multiple different groups, where something a psychic reports hearing has been confirmed via EVP.
