Is Schizoaffective Disorder Schizophrenia and a mood disorder combined?

Hi guys. I hope you are well. Last year i spent two weeks in hospital for auditory hallucinations and feeling very depressed and suicidal.The diagnosis was Schizoaffective Disorder.Is this Schizophrenia and a mood disorder combined?I heard that its Schizophrenia and Bipolar in the one condition is this true?If so, then this is going to be very challenging.
